Halata mo talaga si cocoy pag pabakasyon na…naiinip at ang isip nasa pinas na. He can’t wait to see our darling Cerise…na super kulet na ngayon. She loves to walk really fast and loves to sit by herself on our sofa…mind you ours is kinda tall but she doesn’t mind. She grew a couple of centimeters na rin kaya abot na niya lock ng doors, so extra careful ang entire household kasi before you know it she’d knock down containers and put pots and pans all over the house!

i’m not planning an out-of-town yet, the weather has not been that good and I’m scared we’d be stranded somewhere if it rains really hard. I told my husband that we could just go in malls or stay at home. Well, my husband promised me a movie marathon… that is if he’d stay awake after he hits the play button. He seldom finishes a movie…madalas natutulog tapos magtatanong anong nangyari hehehe.

I miss my husband so much! I miss seeing his goofy face and dining out with him. Syempre I miss kissing and being with him which is a good sign that I’m still madly in love with him. Hmmm ganun din kaya siya? hehe. Well I hope he gets to read this and sends me a lovely email. Cocoy’s a poet and he doesn’t realize how good he is in expressing his feelings. I’m so proud of his accomplishments at work and how he tries everyday to make me feel happy and loved.

Absence does make the heart grow fonder and presence makes the relationship stronger. I am so looking forward to bond with my Cocoy and our Cerise! Life sure is sweet!

Just want to write something for you. It’s gonna be two years since you left and we just miss you so much.

We’re doing fine…si Papa is ok, he’ll arrive soon galing Cags binisita lang din sila Papang and Mamang. My siblings and I are doing fine…Kenneth’s gonna be a dad soon. Si Mae just finished her exams and si Bebs is doing ok sa work niya.

Malaki na si boki and super likot and kulit. Sabi ni Nanay, parehas daw kayo boki na nilalaro yung pusod nung baby pa. Kaya I am not bothered if she keeps doing that…ok lang kasi somehow I feel connected sayo Ma. Eventually, she’ll grow over it but I will surely tell her na kaparehas niya Mama Lola niya ng habit.

I missed our sessions nun, kahit alam ko pinipilit mo pumasok sa office kahit medyo nahihirapan ka. You’re such a strong woman and I hope we’re as strong as you. Sa dami ng pinagdaanan mo Mama, you deserve a rest na talaga and we find comfort in thinking na you’re happy with the Lord…pain and stress-free. Iba talaga pag wala ka nang nanay…iba yung pagmamahal, iba yung pagkalinga.

We love you so much…sobrang miss ka namin. Every November is such a sad month for us. We feel your love mom and we feel na you’re keeping an eye on us…guiding us kahit wala ka na sa tabi namin.

She also adores Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and TV commercials. She’s mesmerized by them especially when these commercials feature babies or kids. She can climb now and run which makes it harder to babysit. She’s a joy to watch and how I wish I could stay with her and play all day!

Her dad’s coming back for his vacation soon…I can’t wait to see them play and bond together. I’m sure my husband’s gonna enjoy every minute of it and I’ll make sure my cam captures it all!

We’ve also finished our mini-project in our living room. We’ve tiled the whole room and it looked amazing! I’m so happy to finish this project…my little sweetheart, Cerise enjoys the new floors and hubby’s really happy and excited to see it.

My heart goes to all  my friends who are slowly picking up the pieces after Typhoon Ondoy. The challenge is great but always remember that you have a friend to lean on and help you get through this ordeal.

It’s a good thing my “love” was determined to have me as his wife…some are not as lucky and spend years searching for the “one.” But you know what, even if you married the “one” you can never be sure that you’ll stay together until the end.

All of us can only hope and pray that we’ll just have that - a happy ending. But who says we can’t have it? We make our own happiness…it’s either we choose to be happy or stay miserable for the rest of our lives.

I have changed. My relationships with other people have also changed. I have people in my life who I thought were really caring and genuine but have proved to be unworthy of my friendship. I have those who I never imagined i’ll be friends with and I consider them now one of my greatest treasures. But such is life, you can’t choose who to meet but you can definitely choose who you’d want to bond with.

You can go through several versions of yourself but just never lose sight of what “really” matters in life. For me, it’s family and friends. What’s yours?

Thanks for the video that my husband edited himself, I can still vividly remember some of the details of our wedding. Without that, all I’d remember is that long walk down the aisle and with my friend “Ms.Weng” telling me “Neng, smile!”

Buhay pa nun si Mama, inadya talaga ni Lord na makasal kami ni Rannie in 2005. Kasi after nun, labas pasok na si Mama sa hospital e, so that year was the perfect time to get married.

So many things happened after that day, fast forward to today, we have our first child na (first coz hopefully we’ll have 1 or 2 more). Rannie and I may be seas apart but we’re up to the challenge - mahirap ang malayo sa isa’t-isa pero we made the decision for him to work abroad and we continue to pray na tama ang naging desisyon namin.

My husband and I want a simple life. But no matter how “simple” you want it to be, still you have to make sacrifices. We are starting to do just that…pave the way for that life that we’d want for our children and for our retirement. All of us want that di ba?

I think Rannie and I have matured immensely since we had our daughter. Everything’s about her now. We want to give her the best that we could give her, make life easier for her, but at the same time teach her to never lose sight of what’s really important in life - faith and family.

I’m pretty much confident that Rannie and I were raised well. Whatever we have learned in our childhood, we pass on to Cerise. We still have a long way to go and right now I’m enjoying my “baby moments” with Cerise so much because I know one day she’ll be all grown up and we’ll miss those times where we could just cuddle and kiss her all we want.

Our anniversary was even more special now that we have Cerise in our lives. August 6 is my family’s birthday! So to daddy, cerise and me - Happy Anniversary!

I’m super amazed with the determination of my mother-in-law to fix Papa Randy’s stuff! Imagine 20 or more large and small boxes of shirts, pants, jackets, caps and dvds. All those Mama Lins must unpack and put inside cabinets. She has accomplished so much in a few days. I know she’s super tired but I guess nothing beats getting rid of all those boxes  and clutter in their room, that’s why she’s so determined to finish it.

I’m also super happy with the way the house looked. I was concerned with all the stuff that we  brought in and that maybe there’s no space for it. But I was wrong. The entertainment center looked really good in our living room considering the space is not that big. The display cabinet for glassware found a perfect spot near the dining area and it was not overwhelmingly huge (I’m speaking like it’s a large home hahaha). We just need to figure out where to put all those electric fans! We have at least 6 in the living room alone haha! But I believe there’s a place for everything, we just have to be a little more creative (wink wink).

We are planning to have some home projects done before the year ends to enhance our living space…make it enticing for relatives and friends to see when they come over and visit. We’re really excited over this especially my husband. He can’t wait to see what we’ve done. Rannie’s gonna be part of the designing and decorating when he comes home for his vacation. He would love being part of that and I would be glad to share that experience with him.

I never thought we’d leave Kas soon, but He’s (si Bro) got some pretty good reasons why we had to leave. I’ve had some very memorable experiences at Kas and those memories I will forever treasure. I’m praying that my in-laws and I and the rest of us continue to live in harmony and with happiness in our hearts…that’s the only way we could truly enjoy each other’s company. Cheers to all of us for finally moving in!

I finally made my husband agree with me to bring Cerise to the airport. He doesn’t want to at first saying he’ll be really sad when he says bye bye to our sweetheart, but he changed his mind. We even made a quick stop at my tita’s house in Pasay before going to the airport. As always, I never took pictures of my husband whenever he leaves for work…I’m just not used to bringing him to the airport and see him leave.

His 23-day vacation went by so fast. It’s as if I dreamt of it happening. Good thing I have pictures as proof. Having him around was really different…there was never a dull moment. My husband loves teasing me and he won’t stop until I’m pissed. Super kulit ni cocoy tapos maglalambing

Rannie misses our little girl so much! Sabi nga niya, sana mayaman na lang kami para di na siya aalis…para kasama na niya kami parati (awww sweet noh!)

But for now, we have to do what we have to do and sacrifice a little to be able to achieve our dreams. We will never get use of the distance and the time that we’re not together. But we’ll surely try to make the journey a little bit enjoyable and worthwhile. We love you so much daddy!
