Tagaytay Trip Part II

Posted on July 16, 2009 ·Tagged , , .

It was nearly lunch time when we decided to leave Paradizoo and take our lunch. Our next stop was the Picnic Grove. Mama Lins prepared a really sumptuous meal for us, adobo spare ribs, rice and bananas for dessert. You have to pay 100 pesos for the tables. We have to look for a really leveled table to place our food. We don’t wanna end up running after our lunch!

After eating, we decided to explore this very popular place in Tagaytay. Remember in movies, they have scenes of this place with cottages and grass where kids run around and play…I wanted to see those damn cottages hehe so off we went to look for them. Here’s a picture we took along the way…

Finally, we reached the place! We were really beat with all that walking and climbing. Mama Lins was out of breath and almost fainted when we reached the famous cottages…she likes carrying Cerise all the time and I guess next time, she’d think twice before taking Cerise in her arms hahaha. Our little baby is not as light as we thought she was!

The heat really exhausted us. Tagaytay’s known for its cool climate but we never felt a hint of coolness. So to cap off our day trip, we decided to eat bulalo at Leslie’s (our way to beat the heat hehe).

Our trip to Leslie’s was a welcome treat to a very exhausting but super enjoyable day at Tagaytay! Cerise was sleeping when we left Tagaytay, poor baby she got so tired with all that excitement.
We we’re really happy we accomplished this trip. It’s definitely one of the highlights of my hubby’s 23-day vacation. Looking forward to more places to see and explore when he comes home again! Out-of-town trips are the best…hmmm better start planning where we’re going to next!
