Cerise turned 1!
Cerise turned 1 last May 24. I want to write a blog about it right after the big day but I’ve got so many things to do and thank goodness I have some free time today to write about it.
The decision to celebrate Cerise’s birthday at Max’s was sort of last minute. I originally intended to have it at my in-laws home in Commonwealth and then I realized how hard it will be for our relatives and friends to go there. And then, I wanted to celebrate it in our home in Zabarte but then again, after planning everything and then realizing how tiring it is to cook and prepare all the food and the decorations to make the place festive, I had second thoughts. I had to decide really soon and look for a place that offers good food, goes with my budget and has lots of parking.
Although Jollibee parties can be lots of fun, adults don’t want to eat burgers, chicken and spaghetti. There has to be real food and Max’s was a practical choice.
I invited 50 adults and 20 kids…all 50 adults came but for the kids only 5 hehe. Nevertheless, the party was super fun! Everyone participated in the games and everyone was in party mode. Cerise was super behave. Maybe because she got to sleep an hour during the party. She just kept on staring at the clowns and her guests and kept on waiving at Mama Lins and Papa Randy.

My husband enjoyed the pictures I sent him and hopefully on Cerise’s next birthday, he’s here to celebrate with us. I just love birthdays! Hopefully, next year we get to do this all over again only much bigger, fancier and more fun!
Warm hugs to all those who came! It meant so much that you were there and celebrated our daughter’s birthday with us. For those who didn’t, no hard feelings…there’s always next year hehe! Cheers to all…
