Whew!

It was a relief when my baby’s pedia told us that Cerise doesn’t have primary complex! I was really worried these past few days. Cerise’s pedia thinks she has PTB so she had my baby go through a chest xray which was really difficult especially when Cerise kept crying furiously while it’s being done. When we finally got the result, the findings were pneumonia. Still her pedia wanted to do a skin test to confirm if my baby does or does not have PTB. So, Cerise had to be injected with a small amount of TB protein and see if after 48-72 hours the skin reacts to it. According to her pedia if a bump appears and it is more than 10 millimeters, she’s got PTB if not…then she’s clear and will be x-rayed after 2 months.

I kept researching about PTB these past few days, hoping and praying she doesn’t have it. She’s only 9 going to 10 months and it will be really hard having her to drink all those medicines for 6 whole months. We’re already having a hard time making her take her vitamins!

But thank God, everything’s ok! We already bought her a walker yesterday to let her practice walking. She’s got too dependent on Mama Lins and her Ate Aisa in carrying her around the house and it’s time she learned how to walk. Here she is with her new walker….cute huh?!
