Secrets of the Masters
I have been watching for two consecutive Sundays, a tribute to Filipino chefs, dubbed “Secrets of the Masters” at QTV Channel 11. Aired at 6:45PM, it’s a treat for people like me who love watching cooking shows but seldom cook hehe!
I don’t know…but I love watching chefs work their magic in gourmet kitchens… creating those delicious and visually appetizing food! There’s something about cooking terms such as braising and chiffonade, and certain french and italian food such as souffle and prosciutto that are like music to my ears.
That’s why I was really thrilled when my husband and I got to watch Ratatouille in the big screen hehe even if the movie’s about a rat who’s a great cook. I also loved those romantic movies where there’s cooking involved like “Simply Irresistable” by Sarah Michelle Gellar and Sean Patrick Flanery. Weird but true!
I also wonder if my mom could have afforded cooking school then maybe I became a chef! I loved baking when I was in my elementary and highschool years so maybe the passion’s there, just need to work with my hands and cook!
I always tell my husband that I would love for Cerise to be a chef…well if she wants to be one. I also would like to one day experience real fine dining with my husband…it’ll be expensive, yes…but we’ll have the whole year to save up just for that hahaha! Anyhoo…
