Mommy Stuff!

This is the first time I’m writing a blog. I guess motherhood and my baby, cerise sophia, inspired me to write something about our little angel.

It’s been four months since I gave birth. Each month was indeed a milestone. I remember holding my baby for the first time inside the nursery, it was so cold and I was really anxious to try nursing my baby for the first time! A lot of moms told me that breastfeeding hurts a lot, but I guess my experience was different. Of course there was minor discomfort, but that instantly went away when my baby started to suck. The nurses told me my baby has good sucking ability which made breastfeeding a breeze.

Then, when we finally got home, I was on “mommymode”. I was nursing my newborn 24/7. I knew how to change her diapers and sing songs to let her fall asleep. I even managed to just have 2-3 hours sleep especially on her early weeks of life. 

Now, she’s four months! She’s got bigger and her skin’s evened out. She’s not “hunyango” anymore like what my mother-in-law kiddingly tells me. She can now roll-over and is desperate to move around. Being on her tummy for quite sometime frustrates her, when that happens I pick her up, let her rest for a bit and then let her roll-over again!I can’t wait to see what she can do for the many months to come.

Having Cerise in our lives was pure bliss! When I’m with her, eveything’s bright and fun! She’s our little angel, our gem, our inspiration! Her dad can’t wait to kiss her and spend QT bonding moments with her. Di ka na pakakawalan ni Dad pag-uwi nya hahaha! I love you so much, ‘nak.
